Global HCP Marketing Director

Our client is global biopharmaceutical company. They have asked us to assist them in their search for a Global HCP Marketing Director.

Major tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Creates awareness and excitement for company products.
  • Collaborates with Global business leads on strategic planning and execution.
  • Leads development of HCP Marketing Plans, HCP campaign strategies, and supports new product launch plans.
  • Establishes and directs commercial channel strategies.
  • Conducts market research, as necessary, to understand market trends, competitive activity, and customer perspectives.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Global Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Partners with Commercial leadership to understand needs and develops programs and initiatives to achieve defined sales and customer objectives.
  • Works collaboratively across the organization for the development, training and distribution of all marketing materials, sales aids, etc. to support the business.
  • Works with Clinical leadership to interpret and incorporate clinical data into strategic and commercial initiatives.
  • Manages HCP segments within guidelines.
  • Strengthens the perception and brand equity with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages customer engagement and communication through website, tradeshows, advertising and digital marketing efforts.

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Biologic Sciences, or related field required.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience, directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
  • Requires a track record of success in commercial roles of increasing scope, scale and complexity.
  • Must have solid experience developing and implementing innovative commercial strategies within highly competitive markets where innovation and marketing prowess are a key factor of success.
  • Requires experience in HCP marketing and strategic implementation positions.
  • Must have expertise in the discovery of novel customer insights and the execution of combined multi-touchpoint projects.
  • Product or indication launch experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in advisory board development and KOL management.
  • The ability to travel up to 20%.
