Associate Director, Brand Innovation Marketing

Our client is a multinational biopharmaceutical company. They have asked us to assist them in their search for an Associate Director, Brand Innovation Marketing.

The Associate Director, Brand Innovation Marketing will support the creation and execution of launch strategies to ensure successful launch; and will work with the marketing team and key cross-functional partners to manage the development and delivery of technology-based solutions and innovative buy-and-bill business services.

Major tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Executes brand strategies that incorporate plans for driving innovation to distinguish the brand in an increasingly competitive market.
  • Interacts with customers and patients to effectively understand their needs and requests to develop and execute engagement platform.
  • Manages and coordinates the work of ad agencies, medical education partners, and various external vendors, which involves acquiring necessary budget estimates, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, etc.
  • Works closely with internal support functions.
  • Collaborates with medical, legal, regulatory for approval of marketing tactics to align with brand objectives.
  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders on user and partner experience.
  • Works with key cross-functional partners to develop and implement business solutions and broad practice utilization.

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Human Computer Interaction or Business-related discipline required. An MBA or related Master’s Degree highly preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of US operational marketing experience in in pharma with focus on product/brand management from product strategy to launch including brand marketing, software product management, digital marketing.)
  • Requires experience with electronic medical records, HIPAA-compliant data exchange, healthcare API development, care management systems or healthcare related devices/apps required.
  • Experience shaping healthcare IT strategy in regulatory, reimbursement, and policy environments.
  • Must have a high level of analytical and conceptual ability to provide strategic focus.
  • Requires a proven track record of driving strategy and tactical plans to provide technology-based solutions for user-focused product insights.
  • The ability to handle ambiguity and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 30%.
  • Buy-and-bill experience highly preferred.
  • Experience launching apps or web-based tools to healthcare customers highly preferred.
  • The ability to develop product requirements and technical specifications for both software and hardware-related products and services.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare stakeholder points and innovative market trends in a buy-and-bill business model.
