Global Indication Lead Renal Cell

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company.  They have asked us to assist them in their search for a Global Indication Lead Renal Cell

Major tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Leads the development of global marketing strategy to ensure optimal product positioning versus current and future competitors.
  • Partners with market access and medical affairs teams on the cross functional effort to optimize the global long term disease area strategy and the short-midterm strategy co-created with countries and regions.
  • Co-creates tactics, in collaboration with countries, to support the brand’s market share and product performance objectives.
  • Builds relationships with global medical experts and leverages the insights collected to support launch plan and lifecycle management activities.
  • Identifies and showcases the team’s global/region/country market penetration efforts through: sharing of key learnings, insights, experiences, and best practices.
  • Ensures global budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans are effectively implemented.
  • Provide guidance for the group’s forecast.
  • Responsible for the commercial interpretation and internal education of key market events within the oncology organization (e.g. senior management, IR, etc.).

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Must have a degree in marketing, medicine, natural or pharmaceutical sciences.
  • An advanced degree in science and/or business is preferred (e.g., MD, Pharm. D., PhD., MBA).
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in healthcare operational marketing / product management or related field (including country-level product management); oncology experience is preferred, but not critical.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to engage effectively with global oncology/hematology medical experts.
  • Must be comfortable switching between complex science and commercial concepts with the ability to bridge between them and build common understanding amongst colleagues with either background.
  • Must be able to collaborate, operate and influence cross-functionally and cross-culturally on a global team.
  • Must have strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills.
