Associate Director, Medical Training

Our client is a leading biotechnology company. They have asked us to assist them in their search for an Associate Director, Medical Training.

Major tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Leads the development and execution of Foundation Medical Training programs and develops and manages other specific medical training programs globally.
  • Responsible for all content and training related to the Specialty Therapeutics franchise of products.
  • Provides functional expertise, training expertise and leadership to ensure that all curricula, training materials and programs are aligned with Worldwide Medical strategies and designed to achieve business outcomes.
  • Works closely with various functions within Worldwide Medical (e.g., Medical Directors, Medical Communications) and other teams outside of the medical organization (R&D, Legal, Commercial, and Enterprise Learning).

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • MS, PhD, MD or DO with 7+years of related experience at a pharmaceutical company or medical communications agency.
  • This person must have strong team leadership and management skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in the following areas are important: multiple sclerosis and/ or inflammatory bowel disease; adult learning and training strategies; some knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process; management of consultants and vendors.
